Chongqing, situata nella zona sud-ovest del paese, con il suo tasso di crescita del 11% annuo ed i suoi progetti urbanistici e commerciali all’avanguardia, è ormai da qualche anno un must be per tutti gli investitori ed i professionisti internazionali interessati alla realtà cinese. è in quest’ottica che si colloca l’iniziativa, portata avanti dalla Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina con sede a Chongqing, della prima edizione del Career Day, tenutasi lo scorso 23 Giugno. Svoltosi nell’Università di Chongqing, tale evento ha richiamato l’attenzione di numerosi partecipanti sia dal mondo aziendale che universitario. L’evento è stato aperto dai messaggi di benvenuto del Consolato Generale italiano a Chongqing, dell’Università di Chongqing, oltre che della Camera stessa. Riprendendo i temi dell’appuntamento, il Console Generale Sergio Maffettone ha focalizzato il suo discorso sull’importanza dell’avere una formazione internazionale per rispondere alle esigenze di un mondo ormai fortemente globalizzato.
Paolo Bazzoni, Membro del Consiglio Direttivo della CCIC, ha invece enfatizzato la necessità di avere obbiettivi di carriera a medio-lungo termine per avere un ruolo chiave all’interno dello sviluppo aziendale. Al termine dei discorsi introduttivi, i rappresentanti di FESCOAdecco, azienda leader nel settore delle risorse umane, hanno tenuto un seminario d’introduzione al mondo del lavoro e alle relative problematiche. A seguire, nella fase conslusiva, momento cruciale dell’evento è stata la sessione di incontri B2B in cui gli studenti hanno avuto modo di confrontarsi direttamente e privatamente con le aziende su quelle che fossero le proprie opportunità e aspettative.
Le aziende coinvolte sono state di svariati settori come educazione, turismo, architettura, alberghiero, consulenza e automobilistico. Ci auspichiamo che questo possa diventare un appuntamento ricorrente nel futuro per creare sempre più sinergie tra istituzioni, universita’, studenti talentuosi e aziende locali.
Career Day in Chongqing 1st Edition: Companies and University gather together
Chongqing, located in South-West China, with 11% of growth rate and its commercial and urbanistic cutting-edge projects, became in the last few years a must be for all the international investors and professionals interested in the Chinese market. Last 23rd June, in this environment the 1st edition of the Career Day was organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce located in Chongqing. Hosted by Chongqing University, the event gathered many participants among companies and University environments. The event was opened by the welcome speeches of the Consulate General of Italy in Chonqging, Chongqing University and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce itself. The Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Sergio Maffettone focused his speech on the importance of having an international education for a better response to the needs of the globalized world.
Paolo Bazzoni, CICC Board Member, emphasized the necessity to set up mid-long term career objectives for having a key-role in the company development process. After the welcome speeches representatives of FESCOAdecco, global leader in HR services, held an orientating seminar regarding how to approach the work-world and face the relative difficulties. Following the seminar, key moment of the event was the B2B session where the students had the chance to have private and direct meeting with the companies about their opportunities and expectations.
The companies were involved from various fields such as education, tourism, architecture, Hospitality, consulting and automotive. We hope this event might become a regular appointment in the future creating even more synergies between Institutions, Universities, gifted students and local companies.
