La XXI Esposizione internazionale della Triennale di Milano “sarà un modo per accompagnare la ripresa della nostra economia, ma anche la ripresa della fiducia nella nostra capacità di attrarre investimenti stranieri, del nostro sistema di esportare all’estero, e nella possibilità che il Paese, le sue imprese, le istituzioni, le riforme, la società civile contribuiscano a restituire all’ Italia un ruolo e un’immagine che non ha mai perso”. Così il Ministro degli Esteri, Paolo Gentiloni, ha presentato al corpo diplomatico accreditato in Italia riunito alla Farnesina la Triennale che avrà luogo dal 2 aprile al 12 settembre 2016, dal titolo “21st Century. Design after Design”. All’evento hanno partecipato anche il Segretario Generale del BIE, Vicente Loscertales, il Presidente della Regione Lombardia, Roberto Maroni, l’Assessore alla Cultura del Comune di Milano, Filippo Del Corno, il Presidente di FederlegnoArredo, Roberto Snaidero, e il Presidente della Fondazione La Triennale di Milano, Claudio De Albertis.
21st Century. Design after Design
XXI Triennale di Milano International Exhibition “will accompany the recovery of our economy, but also the recovery of trust in our ability to attract foreign investment, our system of exporting abroad, and the possibility that Italy, its businesses, institutions, reforms, and the civil society all contribute to returning to Italy a role and an image that it has never lost.” This is how Paolo Gentiloni, Minister for Foreign Affairs, presented the Triennale to the accredited diplomatic body in Italy who met at the Farnesina. The Triennale, titled “21st Century. Design after Design”, will take place from the 2nd April to the 12th September 2016. The following people also took part in the meeting: Vicente Loscertales, General Secretary of the BIE (Bureau of International Expositions); Roberto Maroni, President of the Lombardy Region; Filippo Del Corno, Minister of Culture for Milan; Roberto Snaidero, President of FederlegnoArredo; and Claudio De Albertis, President of the Triennale di Milano Foundation.
