È stata inaugurata nel Padiglione di Eataly la mostra “Il Tesoro d’Italia”, a cura di Vittorio Sgarbi, per celebrare le meraviglie artistiche del nostro Paese con una ricca selezione di opere, circa 350, da Tiziano a Gaetano Pesce, provenienti da chiese, musei, istituzioni e collezioni private. La rassegna propone una parte dell’inestimabile patrimonio culturale regionale italiano, con un focus su 25 artisti attuali, uno per ogni Regione d’Italia. Oscar Farinetti si è detto orgoglioso dell’iniziativa: “Eataly non è solo un ristorante, ma un luogo dove si celebra la biodiversità italiana: agroalimentare, umana, paesaggistica e artistica. Abbiamo il 70% del patrimonio artistico del mondo, ma ora vogliamo dimostrare che l’Italia ha anche la maggiore biodiversità artistica del mondo”.
‘The Treasure of Italy’ Opens in the Eataly Pavillion
On Friday 22 May, the exhibition ‘The Treasure of Italy’ by Vittorio Sgarbi was inaugurated in the Eataly Pavillion to celebrate the artistic wonders of our country with a rich selection of about 350 works, from Titian to Gaetano Pesce, borrowed from churches, museums, institutions and private collections.
The event offers visitors a glimpse of part of the inestimable cultural heritage of the Italian regions, with a focus on 25 current artists, one for each region of Italy. Oscar Farinetti said he was proud of the initiative: “Eataly is not just a restaurant, but rather a place celebrating Italian agri-food, human, landscape and artistic biodiversity. We have 70% of the artistic heritage of the world, but now we want to show that Italy also has the greatest biodiversity in the artistic world.”
