Tante le domande rivolte al Premier e le relative risposte, al fine di focalizzare le problematiche di un territorio di eccellenza e potenzialmente volto a crescere, a partire dalla conclusione di importanti infrastrutture di collegamento per supportare le categorie produttive
Mercoledì 14 settembre il presidente del Consiglio Matteo Renzi ha effettuato un lungo tour nella provincia “Granda”. Ad accompagnarlo durante le varie tappe, per raccontargli le eccellenze e le difficoltà del territorio, il viceministro delle Politiche Agricole, Alimentari e Forestali, il cuneese Andrea Olivero.
L’INTENSA GIORNATA RACCONTATA DAL VICE MINISTRO ANDREA OLIVERO.
Avendo avuto l’onore di seguirlo dalla partenza a Roma fino al rientro, per la provincia di Cuneo la visita del presidente del Consiglio ha permesso a migliaia di cittadini di constatare che lo Stato non è lontano, nei palazzi romani, ma sa essere presente sul territorio e vicino ai problemi quotidiani delle persone. Durante l’intensa giornata, Renzi ha espresso un’enorme carica umana e ha sorriso, discusso, scherzato con bambini e sindaci, con critici e sostenitori, con imprenditori e operai. E, soprattutto, ha ascoltato, ma anche dato risposte: autostrada, opere pubbliche, piccoli Comuni. Su questi temi ha dato a noi, rappresentanti del territorio, precise indicazioni di marcia per giungere al risultato.
E lo ha fatto iniziando con la visita alla Scuola di Bagnolo Piemonte e al Polo scolastico di Mondovì Piazza, due bellissime scuole che testimoniano la concretezza e la capacità dei nostri amministratori, che chiedono più attenzione per i Comuni, ma che, al contempo, sanno trovare le soluzioni per dare servizi ai propri concittadini. Nell’occasione il premier Renzi ha annunciato che tutti i soldi necessari per l’edilizia scolastica saranno svincolati: la stabilità delle scuole per i nostri ragazzi vale di più della stabilità dei patti economici.
Non è mancato l’incontro con gli imprenditori, in occasione della visita agli stabilimenti Ferrero di Alba, Venchi di Castelletto Stura e Merlo di Cervasca, dove il premier ha potuto constatare come tre aziende molto diverse, ma unite dal fatto che stanno aiutando la ripartenza e che hanno creduto fortemente nell’innovazione e nella qualità come fattore competitivo. Nell’occasione Renzi ha ascoltato con attenzione le analisi degli imprenditori presenti e ha parlato con molti lavoratori: fieri del loro lavoro e della loro azienda. Gli sono state presentate anche le criticità – in particolare la burocrazia e la mancanza di infrastrutture – ed il confronto è stato molto aperto, schietto, produttivo.
A seguire, l’incontro con il Consorzio di allevatori “La Granda”. Il consorzio rappresenta oggi uno dei vertici del nostro allevamento da carne e una concreta speranza per molti allevatori che oggi vivono una crisi drammatica. Un’esperienza formidabile a dimostrazione che la qualità, se reale e resa ben visibile, dà frutti concreti di reddito e di soddisfazione. Il cuneese è all’avanguardia sull’agroalimentare e Renzi si è complimentato per quanto ha visto e ascoltato ritenendolo un modello vincente da esportare.
La conclusione dell’intensa giornata, al teatro Toselli di Cuneo, dove il premier si è soffermato a ribadire la bontà della Riforma Costituzionale che ci apprestiamo a votare. Oltre alla grande partecipazione dei cittadini, mi ha colpito la semplicità dell’intervento del premier: ragionamenti puntuali, non polemici, alla portata di tutti i cittadini. Anche le citazioni, da Einaudi a Pavese, denotano che Renzi ha voluto parlare al cuore, ma ancor più alla testa dei cuneesi.
In conclusione posso dire che, tappa dopo tappa, Renzi manifestava stupore e soddisfazione. Ha visto un territorio che, anche tra le difficoltà, coltiva la speranza. Persone concrete, serie, che malgrado i tempi d’oggi non mollano mai.

The Prime Minister answered numerous questions in an effort to address many of the problems faced by a region of excellence with good potential for growth, starting with the completion of major infrastructural links in order to sustain the production categories
On Wednesday 14 September, Prime Minister Matteo Renzi conducted an extensive tour of the Cuneo province. He was accompanied during his various stops by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Andrea Olivero from Cuneo, who told him about the region’s strengths, as well as the various difficulties that it faces. The stops included: the inauguration of the primary school in Bagnolo, visits to various companies from Alba to Cuneo, and a town hall meeting with citizens at the Teatro Toselli in Cuneo, which was dedicated to the upcoming constitutional referendum and the country’s future prospects.
AN ACCOUNT OF THIS BUSY DAY WAS GIVEN BY DEPUTY MINISTER ANDREA OLIVERO. Having had the honour to accompany him from his departure in Rome up until his return, the Prime Minister’s visit to the province of Cuneo showed thousands of people that the Federal Government is not far removed, in the buildings of Rome, but is capable of making its presence felt throughout the territory, and understanding the daily issues faced by the people. During this busy day, Renzi remained extremely down to earth, smiling, talking, and joking with both critics and supporters alike, including town mayors, businessmen, workers, and even the local children. He listened to their concerns and, most importantly, he gave them answers on issues like motorways, public works, and small municipalities. On these issues, he provided us, as representatives of the territory, with precise indications for achieving the results. And he did so starting with his visit to the school of Bagnolo Piemonte and the scholastic centre of Mondovì Piazza, two beautiful schools that bear witness to the skill and effectiveness of our administrators, who are demanding that greater attention be given to the municipalities, while at the same time being perfectly capable of coming up with solutions to provide services to their citizens. To mark the occasion, Prime Minister Renzi announced that all the money required for school construction will be released, indicating that the stability of the schools for our children is worth more than the stability of our economic agreements.
He also took the opportunity to meet with various businessmen during his visit to the Ferrero facility in Alba, the Venchi facility in Castelletto Stura, and the Merlo facility in Cervasca, where the Prime Minister saw how these three different companies are united by the fact that they are helping to jump-start the economy, above all thanks to their strong belief in innovation and quality as competitive factors. During these visits, Renzi listened carefully to the analyses of the businessmen present, and spoke with many of the workers, who expressed the pride that they take in their work and in their companies. Various critical points were also brought up, namely the red tape and the lack of infrastructures, and the resulting discussions were extremely open, frank and productive.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister met with the “La Granda” Farmers Consortium. The consortium is currently one of the leaders in our meat farming industry, and represents a true hope for many farmers who are experiencing a major crisis. It’s a formidable reality that shows how true and clearly visible quality can provide for concrete results in terms of both revenue and satisfaction. The province of Cuneo is at the forefront of the agri-food sector, and Renzi was quite impressed with what he heard and saw, considering it as a successful model to be exported abroad. At the end of this busy day, at the Teatro Toselli in Cuneo, the Prime Minister took a moment to reiterate the importance of the upcoming constitutional reform referendum. In addition to the considerable participation of the citizens, I was also struck by the simplicity of the Prime Minister’s speech, which offered precise and non-controversial reasoning that could be easily understood by all those present. Even his quotes, which ranged from Einaudi to Pavese, revealed how Renzi wanted to speak to the hearts and minds of the Cuneo residents.
In conclusion, I can say that, from one stop to the next, Renzi expressed great amazement and satisfaction. That which he saw was a region in which hope is very much alive, even despite its various difficulties. Real people with serious concerns, who never give up despite the problems they are currently facing.
