È stato inaugurato lo scorso 23 settembre ad Hangzhou (Provincia dello Zhejiang) il primo stabilimento produttivo della Ferrero in Cina, alla presenza dell’Ambasciatore d’Italia in Cina Ettore Sequi, dell’AD della società, Giovanni Ferrero, del Sindaco, Zhang Hongming e del Console Generale a Shanghai, Stefano Beltrame.
Realizzato nel tempo record di 18 mesi e con tecnologie all’avanguardia mondiale nel suo settore, l’impianto ha un valore di 300 mln/euro e costituisce quindi uno dei più importanti investimenti italiani non solo ad Hangzhou, ma nell’intera Cina.
Ferrero, in Cina dal 1977, è qui leader nel suo settore: presente a Shanghai dal 2000 con un ufficio di rappresentanza, si è trasformata in trading company nel 2007 ed inizia adesso la produzione diretta “in China, for China” garantendo gli stessi standard qualitativi adottati nel resto del mondo.

The first Ferrero factory in China opens in Hangzhou on the 23rd September in Hangzhou (Zhejiang province) the first Ferrero production factory in China was opened by the Italian Ambassador for China, Ettore Sequi, the CEO of the company, Giovanni Ferrero, the mayor, Zhang Hongming and the Consul General in Shanghai, Stefano Beltrame.
Completed in the record time of 18 months and with cutting edge technologies, the factory is worth 300 million euros and is therefore one of the most important Italian investments not only in Hangzhou but in all of China.
Ferrero, in China since 1977, is now the leader in the sector. Present in Shanghai since 2000 with a representative office, it became a trading company in 2007 and is now producing directly “in China, for China” guaranteeing the same quality as in the rest of the world.
