L’eccellenza del design Kartell si apre a nuovi mercati

Kartell, azienda di design Made in Italy prosegue il proprio percorso di espansione all’estero. Negli Stati Uniti, dove alla recente inaugurazione del flag di San Francisco, si aggiungerà a breve un secondo spazio a Miami Aventura. Entro febbraio 2016 è prevista l’apertura di un monomarca a Tokyo, in Giappone. L’azienda ha inoltre in progetto l’apertura, entro fine gennaio, del primo flagship store a gestione diretta in UK a Londra. Da sempre presente sui mercati emergenti, Kartell si apre all’Africa: Kenya, Ghana, Sudafrica, con l’obiettivo di far conoscere l’eccellenza del design italiano , e a tutto il Middle East, con nuove aperture in Iran/Teheran, Giordania/Amman, e Qatar/Doha. Nuovi spazi anche in Italia, che resta il primo mercato dell’azienda per fatturato (25%) a Torino, Bergamo, Lanciano, Forte dei Marmi e Trieste Porto Piccolo. Fondata nel 1949 da Giulio Castelli e oggi presieduta da Claudio Luti, nel 2014 Kartell ha raggiunto un fatturato di oltre 100 milioni con una quota di export del 75%. Socio del Comitato Leonardo, nel 2011 Kartell è stato insignito del Premio Leonardo Qualità Italia dal Presidente della Repubblica per gli importanti successi conseguiti all’estero.

The excellence of Kartell design opens up to new markets  
Made in Italy design firm Kartell is looking to expand abroad. In the US, where the firm recently opened a flagship in San Francisco, a second store will be opening shortly in Miami Aventura. Another flagship store will be opening in Tokyo, Japan, by the end of February 2016, and the company is also planning to open its first directly managed flagship store in London, UK. Kartell, which has always been present in emerging markets, is also opening in Africa: Kenya, Ghana and South Africa, with the aim of introducing top Italian design, and throughout the Middle East, with new stores opening in Iran/Teheran, Jordan/Amman and Qatar/Doha. Italy, which remains the firm’s primary market by turnover (25%), will also see new spaces in Turin, Bergamo, Lanciano, Forte dei Marmi and Trieste Porto Piccolo. Founded by Giulio Castelli in 1949 and now led by Claudio Luti, in 2014 Kartell achieved more than 100 million euros in turnover with an export share of 75%. Kartell is a member of the Leonardo Committee, and was awarded the Lenoardo Qualità Italia prize by the President of the Republic in 2011 for their success abroad.
