La Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), in collaborazione con il Consolato Generale d’Italia a Mumbai, l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura e l’ENIT (Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo), ha organizzato un evento esclusivo intitolato “Celebrating Expo with International Stars”, che ha avuto luogo lo scorso 2 aprile nel raffinato ristorante italiano Maritime by San Lorenzo al Taj Lands End. Scopo della serata, la scoperta e la promozione di Expo Milano 2015, che si terrà nel capoluogo lombardo dal 1° maggio al 31 ottobre, il cui tema sarà “Nutrire il Pianeta, Energia per la Vita”. “Celebrating Expo with International Stars” è stato pensato non solo quale opportunità per scoprire Expo Milano 2015, ma anche come una vera e propria immersione nella cultura italiana, gustando specialità di alcune regioni. Inoltre, durante la serata, un particolare saluto è stato riservato a Sajid Nadiadwala, Presidente dell’Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC), che ha celebrato l’Italia attraverso il cinema girando due dei suoi film nel Bel Paese, in suggestive location del Veneto e della Puglia.
Celebrating Expo with International Stars
The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), in association with the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai, the Italian Institute of Culture and ENIT – Italian Tourist Board organized an exclusive event entitled ‘Celebrating Expo with International Stars’ which took place on 2nd April 2015 at the fine Italian restaurant Maritime by San Lorenzo at Taj Lands End.
The aim of the event was to discover and promote Expo Milano 2015, the universal exhibition that will be hosted in Milan from 1st May to 31st October 2015 and whose theme will be ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.’
‘Celebrating Expo with International Stars’ was thought to be not only an opportunity for discovering Expo Milano 2015, but also an immersion into the Italian culture, enjoying food from most of the country’s regional specialties. Moreover, during the event, an official felicitation was given to Sajid Nadiadwala, President of the Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC), who has celebrated Italy through the cinema by shooting two of his movies in the country, in the suggestive locations of regions Veneto and Puglia.
