The culinary art of the young sculptor chef
During an interview with the RAI, Niko Sinisgalli was referred to as “the young sculptor chef”. His cuisine reflects the authentic entrées of his grandmother, from whom he learned to skilfully combine the unique ingredients of his region. We’re talking about the Amalfi Coast, whose flavours have inspired him just as much as its beauty has inspired artists from all over the world. His cuisine offers a perfect balance of both ingredients and creativity.
As a visionary artist and poet of Italian cuisine, Niko Sinisgalli has succeeded in transforming the beauty of the peninsula into unique entrées, all without compromising on the traditional recipes, and at the same time adding a touch of innovation, thus resulting in delicacies that have been served to celebrities like Liam Neeson, Sophia Loren, the Dalai Lama, Richard Gere, and Wilbur Smith. For 4 years, this tireless chef and cooking instructor has been managing the gourmet “Tazio” restaurant at Rome’s Boscolo Exedra Hotel in Piazza della Repubblica.
