La Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), in collaborazione con Stenbeis Centre for Technology Transfer India (STW) e Nishith Disaj Associates, ha organizzato, lo scorso 19 marzo, un webinar dal titolo “Europe-India: technology collaboration – legal, regulatory and tax issues”.
Oggigiorno, la collaborazione tra Europa ed India è sempre più stretta. Di conseguenza, joint ventures, transazioni associate e business transfers sono sorti dall’incontro tra la tecnologia europea e la forza lavoro qualificata indiana. Tuttavia, le aziende europee che vogliono estendere il proprio commercio in India devono affrontare diverse difficoltà dovute alla proprietà intellettuale, al trasferimento di tecnologia ed a svariati tipi di tassazione. Il webinar è stato organizzato proprio al fine di aiutare queste aziende nel loro viaggio verso il mercato indiano. Tre diversi speaker hanno affrontato le questioni degli aspetti legali e regolatori che interessano le aziende europee che collaborano nell’ambito tecnologico in India, ed i punti chiave da tenere a mente circa la documentazione necessaria.
Europe-India: a growing technology collaboration
The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI), in collaboration with Stenbeis Centre for Technology Transfer India (STW) and Nishith Disaj Associates organized a webinar called ‘Europe-India: technology collaboration – legal, regulatory and tax issues’ on 19th March 2015. Nowadays, collaboration between Europe and India is more and more deep; consequently, joint ventures, associated transactions and business transfers were born from the meeting of European technology and Indian skilled workforce. However, European companies that want to make business in India have to face many difficulties due to intellectual property, technology transfer and various kinds of taxes. This is the reason why this webinar was organized: helping European companies in their way towards Indian market. Three different speakers faced the issues of legal and regulatory aspects affecting European companies doing collaboration in technology space in India and key takeaways about the necessary documentation to be kept in mind.
