Genova dal 30 settembre al 5 ottobre. Sarà una celebrazione del mare
Sarà una settimana per sognare, rifarsi gli occhi, immergersi nell’emozionante esperienza del mare: dal 30 settembre al 5 ottobre Genova diventa regina del mare e della nautica.
Il Salone Nautico, nelle sue uniche strutture a terra e a mare accoglierà, una accanto all’altra, oltre 1000 imbarcazioni, 760 espositori e 140 operatori esteri provenienti da più di 36 Paesi. Il settore della nautica del nostro Paese registra un andamento positivo, portando una ventata di ottimismo tra gli operatori del settore anche a livello internazionale. Questo trend trova riscontro anche leggendo i dati della prossima edizione, che registrano la vivacità del settore segnando una crescita a doppia cifra delle imbarcazioni, il ritorno di grandi nomi della nautica e l’ingresso di nuovi cantieri e una grande adesione di stampa internazionale a dimostrazione del ruolo strategico del Salone Nautico per la promozione del Made in Italy e dell’Italia nel mondo.
Il più grande Salone del Mediterraneo sarà più vivo che mai, si presenta con una formula accattivante, confermandosi come un appuntamento immancabile per gli espositori, per far conoscere i propri prodotti e promuovere il proprio brand a un pubblico che l’anno scorso ha superato i 100 mila visitatori, giunti da tutto il mondo. L’evento ha tutti i numeri per essere un ottimo punto d’incontro per tutti gli appassionati del mare.
“Il Salone Nautico giunge quest’anno alla 55a edizione – ha detto il Presidente di UCINA Confindustria Nautica, Carla Demaria. Pochi in Europa e nel mondo possono vantare una densità di eventi e un ruolo così importante e trainante per economia e industria. In questi 55 anni ha stratificato un’esperienza straordinaria in prodotti, clientela, reti, reputazione ed immagine. Credo che possiamo tutti essere d’accordo che quella del Salone Nautico sia una grande storia, patrimonio non solo di Genova, de I Saloni Nautici o di UCINA, ma patrimonio dell’intero comparto nautico, del Made in Italy, dell’Italia che fa girare l’economia. In quanto patrimonio di tutti deve essere difeso da tutti.”
Prosegue Marina Stella, Direttore Generale di UCINA, “ringraziamo il Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico e l’Agenzia Ice per il riconoscimento del ruolo del Salone quale unico evento del Paese di promozione dell’industria nautica in Italia e nel mondo e per il supporto che ha voluto assicurare al nuovo progetto di Salone, permettendoci di realizzare una mostra di grande impatto. Dall’estero abbiamo un segno positivo del 27% di operatori e giornalisti esteri rispetto allo scorso anno. A conferma di questi riconoscimenti nello scenario mondiale, siamo orgogliosi di essere stati i propositori, insieme con il MISE, l’Agenzia ICE e il Governo dello Stato Brasiliano di Santa Catarina – che da quattro anni partecipa al nostro Salone – della prima Fiera della Nautica italiana in Brasile, la cui prima edizione si è svolta di recente a Florianopolis, capitale dello Stato. La seconda edizione si terrà a maggio 2016 nella città di Itajaì, importante polo nautico dello stato di Santa Catarina, già palcoscenico di due tappe della Volvo Ocean Race”.
Ed è proprio la presenza degli equipaggi della VOR ad essere molto attesa dal grande pubblico del Salone, che potrà scoprire dal vivo la vita di bordo, mentre le regate di Team Vestas e Team SCA saranno un bel richiamo per i velisti italiani. L’unico velista italiano che ha partecipato alla ultima edizione, Alberto Bolzan, sarà a bordo e ambasciatore presso il pubblico della grande regata.

It will be a week to dream, to feast your eyes on, and plunge yourself into the thrilling experience of the sea: from 30 September to 5 October, Genoa will become the queen of the seas and the boating world. The Genoa Boat Show, in its unique structures on land and sea, will welcome, side by side, over 1000 vessels, 760 exhibitors and 140 foreign operators from over 36 countries. The country’s boating sector is registering positive growth, breathing a puff of optimism amongst the operators in the sector, as well as on an international level. This trend is also reflected in the figures for the next event, which reflect the liveliness of the sector, indicating growth in double figures for boating, the return of big boating names, the emergence of new boatyards, a big press following and international experts, demonstrating the strategic role of the Boat Show in promoting ‘Made in Italy’ and Italy in the world. The biggest Exhibition of the Mediterranean will be livelier than ever, presented with a captivating formula and confirming itself as an unmissable event for exhibitors to make their products known and promote their brand to a public which included over 100 thousand visitors last year, drawn from all over the world. The event ticks all the boxes as an excellent point of contact for all those with a passion for the sea. “The Boat Show reaches its 55th edition this year – stated the President of UCINA Confindustria Nautica, – Carla Demaria, few in Europe or the world can boast such a large number of events in one place and such an important and motivating role for the economy and industry. Over the past 55 years, an extraordinary experience has been built up in terms of products, clientele, networks, reputation and image. I think we would all agree that the Genoa Boat Show has a rich history and heritage, not only of Genoa, of the Boat Shows, or of UCINA, but of the legacy of the entire shipping sector, of ‘Made in Italy’, of Italy itself, which drives the economy. As this is the legacy of all, it should be defended by all.”
Marina Stella, General Manager of UCINA continues, “We thank you, the Minister of Economic Development and the ICE (Italian Trade Agency) for the acknowledgement of the role of the Genoa Boat Show as a unique event in the country for the promotion of the boating industry in Italy and in the world, and for the support which has strived to make the new Regatta project happen, enabling us to present an exhibition of major impact. From abroad, we have seen a positive sign in the 27% increase in foreign operators and journalists from last year. In confirmation of this recognition on the world scene, we are proud to have been the proponents, together with the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the ICE Agency and the government of the Brazilian State of Santa Catarina, which has participated in our Show for the past four years, of the first Italian Boat Show in Brazil; the first event being held recently at Florianopolis, the State Capital. The second event will take place in May, 2016 in the city of Itajaì, a major boating centre in the state of Santa Catarina, already a backdrop to two stages of the Volvo Ocean Race”. And it is precisely the presence of VOR crews which is to be greatly anticipated by the Boat Show’s huge fan base, who will be able to discover in person what life on board is like; while the Team Vestas and Team SCA regattas will be a wonderful attraction for Italian sailors. The only Italian sailor who participated in the last event, Alberto Bolzan, will be on board and will be an ambassador to the public for the big regatta.
