Shopping all’insegna dell’Orgoglio Italiano

Dal 1987 rappresenta l’Italia presso l’International Partnership of Premiums and Gift.

Shopping with Italian Pride
Design, innovation and green concepts in the Shopping Area of Palazzo Italia, managed and organised by CIPI SpA
Italian Pride is the ‘buzzword’ for the shop of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2015, organised and managed by CIPI SpA, Official Merchandising Partner. Cipi was chosen through a public announcement by virtue of its extensive experience as a leader in the field of promotional items and management of corporate merchandising programmes within Italy.
“The collaboration between Cipi and the Italian Pavilion has given rise to a collection that is certainly destined for success,” said Diana Bracco, President of Expo 2015 SpA and Commissioner for the Italian Pavilion. “Italian Pride is in fact the figure that best expresses the positive complexity of the values that we are bringing to the attention of the world with Expo. This logo contains the idea that everyone should give the best of themselves for the common good: it is a symbol of belonging and unity in diversity.”
“For us,” said Valentina Circus, CEO of Cipi, “being partners of the Italian Pavilion is a great source of pride.” Since 1964, the year of its foundation, Cipi has operated in Italy and abroad and has its own production facilities and machinery for customising products. Since 1987 it has represented Italy at the International Partnership of Premiums and Gift.
The shop, located on the ground floor of Palazzo Italia, was designed by the architectural firm Scandurra of Milan, and sells selected products by prestigious Made in Italy names, with points of sale representing the food industry partners of the Italian Pavilion. Excellence and uniqueness have driven the selection of the items for sale. Environmentally sustainable ideas are being exhibited for the first time worldwide, such as paper made from residues of apple or kits to raise butterflies on  city terraces.
The large corner dedicated to the ‘Nursery of Sustainable Design’ hosts the best projects for home, office and recreational accessories, inspired by recycling, environmental sustainability and the theme of Expo 2015 ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.’ The objects were made by students of the European Institute of Design as part of the contest ‘Green Mind for Green Economy,’ launched last March by Cipi and IED.
