Il meglio dell’enogastronomia italiana sbarca per il quarto anno a Londra
La quarta edizione di Welcome Italia, l’evento dedicato alla promozione delle eccellenze enogastronomiche italiane, si terrà dal 21 al 23 ottobre 2016 presso la prestigiosa Royal Horticultural Halls in zona Westminster, nel cuore di Londra, a pochi passi dalla stazione Victoria. Ospiterà esclusivamente aziende italiane interessate ad entrare o a consolidare la propria presenza nel mercato UK.
Welcome Italia si presenta con un format dinamico ed innovativo. Le aziende partecipanti potranno usufruire di una giornata Trade-Only durante la quale si apriranno le porte agli operatori di settore del mercato inglese (distributori, GDO, fornitori, ristoratori), allo scopo di sviluppare relazioni con potenziali nuovi collaboratori, mentre i rimanenti due giorni saranno aperti anche al pubblico di visitatori, l’anno scorso piú di 3000.
Oltre alla semplice esposizione dei prodotti, le aziende partecipanti potranno vendere direttamente anche al dettaglio.
La Royal Horticultural Halls è una venue di oltre 900 mq con capacità di ospitare più di 60 stand (l’anno scorso gli espositori erano 62). Queste dimensioni garantiscono un ottimo rapporto tra espositori ed operatori, il che garantisce una partecipazione di maggior successo.
L’area che animerà Welcome Italia sarà il Cookery Theatre dove chef italiani rinomati nel Regno Unito, lo scorso anno capitanati da Francesco Mazzei, daranno prova del loro talento culinario attraverso cooking show.
Si terranno inoltre seminari e master classes con i prodotti degli espositori. Welcome Italia 2015 ha potuto vantare sponsorizzazioni di alto livello tra cui Barilla, Electrolux, Fiat Motorvillage Marylebone, Ferrarelle, bicchieri Zafferano, Moroso, Alessi, la Federazione Italiana Cuochi e la partnership con l’ITA – Italian Trade Agency per alcuni eventi.
Durante la giornata trade-only si terrà la premiazione del marchio Ospitalità Italiana con l’obiettivo di certificare i migliori ristoranti italiani presenti nel Regno Unito.
Welcome Italia si conferma come l’evento di riferimento dell’agroalimentare italiano in UK. L’unica vera vetrina che consente di affacciarsi e affermarsi nel mercato inglese.

The best of Italian Food & Drink comes to London for the fourth year running
The 4th edition of Welcome Italia, the event dedicated to the very best of Italian food & beverage, will take place from 21st – 23rd October 2016 at the prestigious Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster, in the heart of London, just a few steps from Victoria Station.
It will host Italian companies looking to enter or strengthen their presence in the British market.
The fair has an innovative, dynamic format, with this year’s edition introducing new elements. This year the Chamber is organizing a trade-only day, open exclusively to professionals in the F&B sector (retailers, buyers, restaurateurs, Ho.Re.Ca. etc), the purpose being to establish and develop commercial relationships. The remaining two days will be open to visitors, last year we saw more than 3000. Over the course of the three days, exhibitors will be able to both sell and offer their products for tasting.
The venue has an exhibition area of 900 m2, which will hold more than 60 stands. In this space, the exhibitors can feel at the centre of the event and will be able to create a network of contacts.
A focal point of the show will be the Cookery Theatre, where last year famous Italian chefs such as Francesco Mazzei showcased their talent and where both seminars and master classes took place.
The last edition was sponsored by well-known brands such as Barilla, Electrolux, Fiat Motorvillage Marylebone, Ferrarelle, Zafferano glasses, Moroso, Alessi, The Italian Chef Federation and in partnership with ITA – Italian Trade Agency for the organisation of some seminars and master classes.
In addition, during the first day of the fair the Ospitalitá Italiana prize will be awarded. It recognises the best Italian restaurants in the UK and their excellent levels of hospitality.
