Gaeta anche quest’anno capitale del mare. Economia, turismo, sport, sapori, solidarietà
Parte la IX edizione di Yacht Med Festival, la Fiera Internazionale dell’Economia del Mare, che si svolgerà a Gaeta (LT) dal 22 aprile al 1° maggio 2016, l’appuntamento che ha saputo imporsi in questi anni quale punto di riferimento per imprese, associazioni e istituzioni legate al ricco e variegato mondo del mare.
“L’edizione 2016 dello Yacht Med Festival avrà due parole d’ordine: internazionalizzazione e integrazione – ha spiegato Vincenzo Zottola, Presidente di Unioncamere Lazio e della Camera di Commercio di Latina, che organizza l’evento, patrocinato da AIPS Europe e Istituto Commercio. Proseguiremo il percorso intrapreso negli scorsi anni, rafforzando e avviando nuove partnership internazionali di grande rilevanza. Ospiteremo la prima edizione dell’Euro Med Days dell’Economia del Mare, che vedrà rappresentanti di tutta l’area euromediterranea confrontarsi con l’obiettivo di condividere buone pratiche e nuovi progetti. Con autorevoli delegazioni della Tunisia e dell’Iran, inoltre, stringeremo accordi volti al sostegno delle nostre imprese all’estero”.
A testimonianza della vocazione internazionale della manifestazione, grazie alla presenza di una delegazione di imprese guidata dal Governo brasiliano di Santa Catarina nell’edizione 2011 di YMF, è nata la prima Fiera della Nautica Italiana in Brasile, la cui seconda edizione si svolgerà proprio nello stato di Santa Catarina, dal 4 al 7 Maggio prossimo. Saranno, inoltre, presenti rappresentanti dei 17 Paesi europei che aderiscono al Sector Group “Maritime Industries & Services” della rete europea Enterprise Europe Network, che si confronteranno insieme ad altre delegazioni dell’area Med con l’obiettivo di condividere le migliori pratiche ed elaborare proposte per uno sviluppo strategico dell’Economia del Mare, all’insegna dell’innovazione, della ricerca e della sostenibilità.
“Durante la manifestazione – ha aggiunto il Presidente Zottola – presenteremo il nuovo patto di cooperazione con l’Ente del Turismo Iraniano per lo sviluppo del turismo e del business Italia-Iran e rinnoveremo la collaborazione con la Camera di Commercio Tuniso-Italiana, con la quale stiamo organizzando la prima edizione dello Yacht Med Festival Lazio Blue International in Tunisia. Come consuetudine, la Fiera Internazionale di Gaeta sarà anche l’occasione per presentare in anteprima il Quinto Rapporto nazionale sull’Economia del Mare elaborato da Unioncamere. Forte dei suoi 300.000 visitatori stimati della scorsa edizione, la Fiera Internazionale dell’Economia del Mare, si preannuncia come sempre ricca di appuntamenti. In programma, tra Workshop ed incontri BtoB, anche una ricca sezione sportiva con l’associazione dei campioni olimpici “Milleculure” con gare veliche, prove nuoto e di pallanuoto in mare, e l’affascinante sezione il mare e il cinema, con la partecipazione di attori ed esperti e le note del mare con l’interpretazione di popolarissime canzoni ispirate al tema”.

The 9th edition of the Yacht Med Festival, the International Marine Economy Trade Fair is kicking off and will take place in Gaeta (Latina) from 22 April to 1 May 2016. In recent years, this event has become the point of reference for businesses, associations and institutions linked to the rich and varied world of the sea.
“The 2016 edition of the Yacht Med Festival will have two keywords: internationalization and integration – explains Vincenzo Zottola, President of Unioncamere Lazio (Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce of Lazio) and the Chamber of Commerce of Latina, which organizes the event, sponsored by AIPS Europe and the Institute of Commerce. We will continue the journey undertaken in recent years, strengthening and launching new, very important international partnerships. We will host the first edition of the Euro Med Days of the Marine Economy, where representatives from the entire Euro-Mediterranean area will be engaging with each other with the goal of sharing best practices and new projects. Furthermore, with authoritative delegations from Tunisia and Iran, we will enter into agreements aimed at supporting our businesses abroad.”
Bearing witness to the event’s international vocation, thanks to the presence of a delegation of businesses led by the Brazilian Government of Santa Catarina in the YMF 2011 edition, the first Italian Nautical Trade Fair emerged in Brazil, the second edition of which will, in fact, take place in the state of Santa Catarina, from 4 to 7 May this year. Moreover, representatives from the 17 European countries participating in the “Maritime Industries & Services” Sector Group of the European network, the Enterprise Europe Network, will engage with other delegations from the Mediterranean area with the goal of sharing best practices and developing proposals for the strategic development of the Marine Economy, in the pursuit of innovation, research and sustainability.
“During the event – president Zottola added – we will introduce the new pact of cooperation with the Iranian Tourism Authority, in order to develop Italy-Iran tourism and business and we will renew collaboration with the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, with which we are organizing the first edition of the Lazio Blue International Yacht Med Festival in Tunisia. As is customary, the International Trade Fair in Gaeta will also be a chance to present a preview of the Fifth National Report on the Marine Economy, developed by Unioncamere (Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce). On the strength of its 300,000 visitors estimated during the last edition, the International Marine Economy Trade Fair promises to be, as always, full of special events. In the programme, as well as Workshops and B2B meetings, there is also a rich sports selection including the association of Olympic champions ‘Milleculure’ with sailing contests, swimming and water polo trials in the sea, and the fascinating cinema and the sea section, with the participation of actors and experts and the music of the sea with performances of the most popular songs inspired by this theme.
