Sono 12 i vincitori del Premio dell’Unione Europea per la Letteratura 2015, il riconoscimento letterario che mira a promuovere la creatività e la diversità della scrittura europea contemporanea. Tra le opere selezionate anche “Apnea” di Lorenzo Amurri, scrittore, musicista, blogger e produttore musicale, nato a Roma nel 1971.
Il Premio UE per la Letteratura, promosso dalla Commissione Europea, è stato lanciato nel 2009 e da allora ha provveduto alle spese di diffusione e traduzione (in più di 20 lingue europee) per 56 opere.
Quest’anno, i vincitori del Premio saranno inoltre invitati a presentare i propri scritti alla Cerimonia di gala che si terrà a Bruxelles il prossimo 23 giugno.
An Italian for the EU Prize for Literature in 2015
There are 12 winners of the European Union Prize for Literature in 2015, the literary award that aims to promote the creativity and diversity of European contemporary writing. The selected works include ‘Apnea’ by Lorenzo Amurri, a writer, musician, blogger and music producer, born in Rome in 1971.
The EU Prize for Literature, sponsored by the European Commission, was launched in 2009 and since then has covered the costs of the distribution and translation (into more than 20 European languages) of 56 works.
This year, the prize winners will be invited to present their writings at the gala ceremony to be held in Brussels on 23 June.
